Dr. Balogh is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in adult psychotherapy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her areas of expertise are the treatment of adults who suffer from depression, anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactive disorder, low self-esteem, difficulty with stress management and life transitions, and those who have experienced trauma.

Dr. Balogh has a B.A. in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College and graduated with her M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology at Palo Alto University. During her education and training, Dr. Balogh had the opportunity to work with a diverse set of clientele presenting with a variety of mental health difficulties, including individuals with severe mental illness, developmental disabilities and concerns, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related and stress-related disorders, addiction and substance use, and life transitions.  

Dr. Balogh’s therapeutic approach is active, solution-focused, and collaborative. She seeks to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. Dr. Balogh integrates complementary methodologies and techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Strength-Based approaches, to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
